Service Plans

  • $1,200 for 12 Months | Up to 8 Hours

    Limited to Wayfinder's first five families!

    A special introductory package for families who want ongoing advocacy support and the flexibility to use services as needs arise throughout the year.

    Includes:

    • 60-minute comprehensive intake consultation

    • Individualized advocacy roadmap

    • Priority educational record review

    • Review of one current IEP or 504 Plan

    • One PPT Meeting Support Bundle

    • Up to two brief progress check-ins

    • Parent coaching and advocacy guidance

    • Routine email support within the package hours

    • Guidance with educational requests, meeting preparation, and progress monitoring

    *All professional services are applied toward the 8-hour package allowance. Additional services are available at $200/hour with advance approval.

  • $1,500 for 12 Months | Up to 8 Hours

    Best for: Families who plan to communicate independently with their child's school but want professional analysis, preparation, and strategic guidance behind the scenes.

    Includes:

    • 60-minute intake consultation

    • Priority review of current and relevant educational records

    • Review of one current IEP or 504 Plan

    • Written priority observations and recommendations

    • Parent strategy and coaching

    • Up to one PPT Meeting Support Bundle

    • Advocacy guidance and substantive email support

    • Meeting follow-up and next-step planning

    $1,500

    *Additional services beyond the package allowance are available at $200/hour.

  • $2,900 for 12 Months | Up to 16 Hours

    Best for: Families who want more consistent, hands-on advocacy support throughout the school year.

    Includes:

    • Comprehensive intake consultation

    • Priority educational record review

    • Individualized advocacy roadmap

    • IEP or 504 Plan review

    • Parent strategy and coaching

    • PPT preparation and advocacy

    • Support for up to three mutually confirmed school meetings

    • Drafting or editing routine parent correspondence

    • Progress and implementation review

    • Authorized communication with school personnel

    • Meeting follow-up and ongoing next-step planning

    $2,900

  • $5,000 for 12 Months | Up to 28 Hours

    Best for: Families navigating complex, escalating, or higher-conflict special education concerns who need more intensive, ongoing non-attorney advocacy.

    Includes:

    • Comprehensive intake and concerns assessment

    • Deeper review of priority educational records

    • Detailed advocacy and meeting strategy

    • IEP or 504 Plan analysis

    • Ongoing parent coaching

    • Support for up to five mutually confirmed meetings

    • Educational request and parent correspondence support

    • Progress and implementation review

    • Authorized communication with school personnel and providers

    • Preparation for difficult or high-stakes meetings

    • Appropriate non-attorney dispute-resolution preparation and support

    • Assistance organizing information for an attorney referral when necessary

    Comprehensive preparation and advocacy support surrounding one upcoming PPT meeting.

    Includes:

    • Brief intake questionnaire

    • Targeted review of the current IEP/504 Plan and priority meeting documents

    • Up to one hour or 75 pages of targeted document review

    • 30-minute pre-PPT strategy session

    • Advocate attendance for up to 90 minutes

    • 30-minute post-PPT debrief

    • Brief written next-step summary

    Focused one-on-one guidance regarding a primary educational concern, including parent coaching, answers to specific questions, and identification of potential next steps.

    Professional review of one current IEP or Section 504 Plan, including:

    • Review of up to 50 pages

    • Identification of strengths, gaps, questions, and priority concerns

    • Concise written recommendations

    • 30-minute review consultation

    Focused review of selected educational records related to one defined concern.

    Includes up to three professional hours of review and a concise written summary identifying relevant patterns, concerns, and recommended next steps.

    Designed for complex or multi-year educational records involving multiple evaluations, eligibility questions, disputed progress, or significant service history.

    *A written estimate is provided before work begins.

  • $200 | 60 Minutes

    Individualized coaching to help you understand the special education process, organize concerns, prepare requests, communicate effectively with your child's school, and strengthen your advocacy skills.

  • $400

    A focused review of your child's current progress reports and selected supporting data compared with relevant IEP goals or services.

    Includes concise written recommendations and a 30-minute follow-up consultation.

  • $200/Hour

    Professional assistance drafting or editing advocacy-related communication, including parent concerns, evaluation requests, meeting requests, follow-up correspondence, record requests, and other educational communications.

  • $200/Hour

    Advocacy attendance at school meetings not otherwise included in a package or PPT Meeting Support Bundle.

    Meeting preparation and follow-up are billed separately. A 90-minute minimum applies.

  • Starting at $1,500

    Non-attorney educational advocacy support for families navigating unresolved special education concerns through mediation, a Connecticut state complaint, or another mutually agreed-upon dispute-resolution process.

    Support may include:

    • Review and organization of priority educational records

    • Development of a factual chronology

    • Organization of parent concerns and desired educational outcomes

    • Parent coaching and strategy

    • Mediation preparation

    • Organization of supporting documents

    • Non-legal editing of parent-prepared complaint materials

    • Educational assistance with Connecticut state complaint materials

    • Review of school responses and relevant documentation

    • Post-resolution guidance and next-step planning

    The initial $1,500 retainer includes up to 7.5 professional hours.

    Mediation matters requiring advocate attendance generally begin at $1,800 for up to 8 professional hours.
